Customer Service Representative

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Customer Service Representative will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by effectively managing inquiries, processing orders, and providing exceptional service to our clients in the pharmaceutical industry. This position reports directly to the Customer Service Manager and involves collaboration with various departments to uphold the highest standards of customer care.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducts telephone communication with customers
- Assists customers with price checks and item information
- Addresses customer issues regarding operations, delivery, billing, and various special projects (including DME)
- Executes all phases of order entry
- Receptionist Back-up
- Must be available from 9 am to 6 pm
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years of pharmacy experience desired
- Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred
- Intermediate computer knowledge required
- Excellent telephone communication skills
- Possess a friendly and outgoing demeanor

RPG/iSeries Developer
Department: Information Technology
Reports To: Director, ERP/EDI Application Development
FLSA Status: Exempt
Summary: The iSeries Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining IBM iSeries software applications critical to the operations of Smith Drug Company. This role involves researching, designing, documenting, and modifying software specifications throughout the production lifecycle. The developer will analyze and amend software errors in a timely and accurate manner, providing status reports as required. The role also includes unit testing independently or with minimal direction, adhering to all IT established methodologies, standards, and guidelines. Additionally, the developer will provide technical oversight and assist with the design and development of projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in the exploration, implementation, testing, and maintenance of new technology.
- Support existing iSeries programs and jobs.
- Troubleshoot, perform performance tuning, and write technical specifications from functional design specifications.
- Perform program design, coding, testing, development, and documentation activities for highly complex and/or multiple inter-related applications.
- Develop technical specifications, development approaches, and time requirements for average to large size projects or packaged software implementation.
- Participate in integration, training, and implementation activities.
- Report status updates accurately to IT and/or business leaders.
- Mentor and/or provide on-the-job training to less experienced developers.
- Proactively assist others in achieving the organization’s objectives.
- Coordinate efforts with database administrators, network infrastructure personnel, Systems Development, and Helpdesk.

Education and/or Experience:

Warehouse Support (Milton, VT)
Full Time, On-Site, 2nd Shift, Sunday - Thursday
Some part time positions are available on 2nd shift.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working the pick pack line
- Working on the loading/shipping dock
- Operating a cherry picker
- Conducting physical inventory
- Restocking product
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- You must be able to lift 50 pounds
- This job is very physically demanding, and includes continuously walking/moving around, squatting, bending, and reaching over your head
- Able to work quickly in a fast-paced warehouse environment
